About
I am an open minded, dedicated and creative Multimedia designer from Greenside Design Center majoring in UI/UX, Corporate Identity, Web and Logo Design. As part of my studies and one of my highlights is that we needed to create a corporate identity and complete rebrand of the very well known channel, Discovery! Not only that but also had to create a mobile UI, TV idents and an accompanied CI Journal!
In my work I want to leave an impression by making a point and statement in the design world which shows you that I am meant to be in this field, what creative outputs I have to offer as an individual or working in a team and why I would be an asset in terms of uplifting the image of your business/company. The world of design and creativity can’t wait for me to begin! I enjoyed my studying experience so much, not a day goes by where I wish to use the skills that I’ve learnt in multiple design programmes to craft and pursue a successful career which will then showcase my worth/talent in the design field!
Logo History
My name is Ross Grobler.
My logo contains the first letters of my first name and surname so RG. I have always enjoyed creating logos which are strong, bold and eye catching when standing on their own. In my logo I used a dot/point/full stop to indicate and to relate to my brand statement that I want to make a point in my designs and future projects. I also included the line of the R which when combined with the full stop actually makes an exclamation mark, which also indicates that I would like to make a statement when producing work and for future endeavours! I think that my logo translates into me as a person as I am strong on my own, am BOLD like the typeface which I used (Gilmer), can stand out from the rest and am able to make an impression, point and statement to others.
